is a qualified Food Technologist and manages the total function of the Technical Services Department within Musgrave Retail Partners GB. His principal responsibilities include the management of the safety; quality and legality of all Budgens and Londis own label products, as well as the development of appropriate technical policies. His role also brings him into direct contact with both, Local Government and Central Government Departments (Food Standards Agency, Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs & Department of Health) & Non-Governmental Organisation’s.
Prior to joining Musgrave Retail Partners GB, Jonathon was Senior Food Technologist with Asda. Externally, he is Chairman Of the Society of Food Hygiene & Technology. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society.
