(born 1949) was Managing Director of Lucas Meyer Ð The Lecithin people from 1976 to 1999. Under his leadership the Hamburg based company developed into world market leader of lecithin, a unique food ingredient. The family company was sold to Degussa AG and today is part of Cargill Inc. Mr. Meyer spent most of his childhood in Brazil, graduated from High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan and received his MBA from Hamburg University. Today he is working as a consultant and represents Brazil as Honorary Consul in Hamburg.
