The Transition to GM-free Meat and Dairy Production in Ireland – the Food Island
is a film producer/director, author, environmental campaigner, and consultant with a trans-disciplinary background in systems theory, cybernetics, anthropology, psychology, sustainable development, art, music, and media production.
He is the CEO of Global Vision Consulting and the Co-ordinator of the GM-free Ireland Network — a coalition of 130 organisations representing 1 million citizens who want to keep Ireland free of GM food and farming.
GM-free Ireland secured a national policy U-turn in 2007 when the Government of Ireland agreed to collaborate with the Northern Ireland Assembly "to seek to negotiate to declare this island as a GMO-free zone", off limits to the environmental release of GM crops, fish, and livestock etc.
